Pass Salesforce AI Specialist

Published: at 12:13 PM

I passed this just recently on the first day it became available for testing.
While the ‘Salesforce AI Associate’ certification is largely AI buzzwords/trends and beginner Generative/NLP foundations, the ‘Salesforce AI Specialist’ exam is almost entirely focused on the actual Salesforce tools and discussions around implementing them.

I recommend following the full recommended Salesforce Trailhead path as it’s very practical, hands-on, and includes a useful Super-Badge unit that can be accomplished in a relatively short time.
Salesforce AI Specialist Exam Guide

Einstein Trust Layer (15%)

Generative AI in CRM Applications (17%)

Prompt Builder (37%)

Einstein Copilot (23%)

Model Builder (8%)

Focused Quick-Study (will be tough to pass by just doing the quick-study):

  1. Fantastic blog-post study guide
  2. Focus on Einstein Trust Layer as Salesforce loves this type of content and it’s scattered throughout the exam:
  3. Focus on Generative AI portion (it’s by far the toughest part of the exam and seems to comprise more than 17%):
    • Einstein Generative AI Features
    • Particularly focus on:
      • Einstein for Service features
      • Einstein Sales Tools
    • What makes these questions difficult is the branding of tools running together while their functions are similar: ‘Einstein Service Replies’, ‘Einstein Reply Recommendations’, ‘Einstein Work Summaries’, ‘Call Summaries’, ‘Call Explorer’, etc.
  4. Test your readiness before the exam
  1. Hands-on trail path
Directly relevant for both the Super-Badge and certification.
  2. Practical Super-Badge
Can be done in relatively short order.
  3. Fantastic blog-post study guide
  4. Test your readiness before the exam
